Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Hydraulics
Location: Farmingdale, NY
Pay: $25.00 to $45.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (No weekends)

The Role: We are hiring a full time Heavy Equipment Mechanic. You will work in our Farmingdale shop maintaining and repairing complex environmental and road maintenance machinery. This role guarantees a standard daytime schedule with absolutely zero weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Execute physical repairs and routine maintenance on heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Perform quality inspections prior to returning vehicles to customers.
• Complete field documentation and communicate diagnostic updates to the shop foreman.

Requirements:

• Previous background as a mechanic or completion of a technical school program.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with specific experience in hydraulic systems.
• Must provide your own basic personal hand tools.
• Must live within a reasonable daily commuting distance to Farmingdale.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check.
