Specific responsibilities include:

• Follow instructions given by the Hydraulic Lead and follow production orders to assemble the Stripe Hog ® Waterblasting System
• Read illustrations, diagrams or schematics to determine how to assemble components.
• Measure and mark dimensions of parts to ensure a tight fit and a quality product.
• Adjust, repair, re-work parts and assemblies to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain company equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Attention to continuous improvement opportunities.
• Follow all company regulations.
• Other duties as assigned my team lead and or production supervisor  

Required Education and Experience:  

• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent. Vocational/Trade School mechanic training or certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as Medium or Heavy Truck Mechanic or Heavy Equipment
• Experience working with Hydraulic motors, valve and cylinder rebuilding required
• Skilled in using power and air tools
• Must have own tools, and be comfortable using, typical shop tools to assemble a variety of components
• Self-disciplined, highly organized, goal-oriented.
• Must possess the ability to multitask with a strong attention to detail
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Must be fluent in English, ability to speak other languages a plus.

Supervisory Responsibility - this position does not have supervisory responsibilities.  

Work Environment - this job operates in a shop environment where tools and other machinery is used.  

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work - this is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00p.m. However, this schedule may vary based on the needs of the shop and as assigned by the production supervisor which will change as required based on job duties demand.  

Travel – none  

Additional Eligibility Qualifications - must pass a background check and drug screen.
