Overseeing the planning and coordination of IDLS projects for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), the full-time PMP Certified Project Manager will manage project activities, ensure objectives are met within defined parameters, and introduce modern solutions to improve client business processes, with a preference for candidates located in the Fort Meade area. Key responsibilities Provide leadership and direction by integrating internal, subcontract, and customer staff into cohesive teams Monitor project lifecycle, deliver status reports, and ensure program profitability through financial assessments and accurate forecasting Interface with clients to assess objectives, evaluate risks, and suggest improvements across the DISA architecture Required qualifications BS degree with 8-10 years of project and program management experience; experience can substitute for education Proven success in managing large, technically complex projects within a DISA environment Secret clearance required; Top Secret clearance preferred PMP certification is highly desired Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with application development and infrastructure preferred
